DO NOT PATRONIZE THIS SHOP!
This was a new one to me, usually once quoted a price the company keeps their word, or at least notifies you of any additional charges before the work is done. When I went to pick up the vehicle the work done was incomplete and I was charged in additional $100 and 2 days to complete the job. I will not be returning and would not recommend this company to any of my family or friends.
Lake Bella Vita Auto has keep both my cars running for over 200,000 miles. Ted will keep you posted on things your car will need now and in the future. The waiting room is more like a living room than a waiting room and the shop is always super clean! I always tell people to take their cars to LBVA in order to keep them running like new.
Just thought I'd try them out because their right up the street from where I live. But seems like the usual money pit to me.
I paid for a job that was never done properly. They never tried to make it right. I will not recommend them to anyone! Way overpriced!
I was very unhappy with my Bella Vista Auto experience. I was charged $168 before any type of look over or evaluation. Then I was quoted a price way above expectations. Since they already had the car and I was already close to $200 in, I went ahead with the repair. When the job was done I was informed the price had went up an additional $100.
I had a good experience with a check engine light issue here and decided to come back for a more substantial repair. While my car was at the shop the oil cap was lost (not a huge deal on its own) and the passenger front door was damaged. Either someone hit the car in the parking lot while it was parked there or it was damaged while inside the shop. When I brought it to Ken's attention he said that he wasn't liable for anything that happened to my car while at his shop (WTF?) and refused to compensate me for the repair. The door was damaged so that every time you open the door it clicks against the front frame. I understand that accidents happen but it was Ken's complete refusal to even consider helping to solve the problem that blew me away. He gives a bad name to supporting a local company.
I had a great, great experience with Bella Vista Auto. Ted explained what was done and why. I have an older car and this auto shop is helping me keep it as long as I can. Highly recommend.
