Laura Ensley helped me purchase my dream home! From beginning to end it was an amazing process. She helped me understand everything every step of the way. I would highly recommend her or Re/Max United.
Later I found out the sellers' agent had to deal with her husband more than with her and the sellers were given confidential information about me and my lending progress. There was a lot of hostility between the sellers and I and blame her for it. She gossiped more about her clients rather than looking out for their best interest.
I asked for the $525 administration fee from Re/Max to be refunded considering I was not told about the administration fee on top of the $500 earnest deposit, nor was that money counted towards her commission. Laura and the office managers are in violation of National Association of REALTORS® Code of Ethics and I will never recommend her as a real estate agent or Re/Max at all for that matter.

Unfortunately, my whole house buying experience was a disaster with Laura. At first she had me meet with a mortgage lender that preapproved. Then when I purchased a house, it became a nightmare and Laura had me go to a different mortgage lender and told me not to tell them anything about my previous lender.
Laura was unprofessional during the whole process; sending me text messages calling me babe and honey; sending her husband to houses I wanted to see instead of showing up herself; tell me that there were other offers that I shouldn't know about; Jen in your office did more paper work than Laura did and when it came time to close she said she didn't see the inspection and that I couldn't receive any money from the sellers (even though I talked to her about this very thing over the phone), this created REWORK and DELAY in closing.
In May I closed on my new house at your Rockford office. To no surprise my relator, Laura Ensley, showed up after the title paper work was signed. The sellers had two weeks until I took possession and when the time came they were not ready. Laura did not meet my needs with communicating with me and sent me copies of text messages from the sellers stating that "They had to wait for me so they didn't understand why I couldn't give them more time". I had taken the day off of work to move and did not appreciate the back and forth between Laura, the seller and their real estate agent.
Carrie has helped us purchase our first home and has now sold it and helped us buy another! We came back to her after we decided to move and I don't believe anyone else could have done as great of job as she did. She is very responsive, knowledgeable, and courteous. Anytime I'm in the real estate market I will go straight to her and her team at Re max United! What's also great is that she is your contact throughout the entire process so there's no disconnect. In my opinion, she is the best realtor any buyer or seller could ask for!
